The Imposter
Recipe by Sabrina Eldredge of Nerd Friday

This drink is originally a non-alcoholic drink posing as a fancy cocktail. However, you could use the variation to create an alcoholic drink posing as a virgin drink. Your choice. Either way it’s perfect for a warm summer day.

In a pitcher or large jar, add 5 sprigs of mint (just leaves, no stems), ½ cup of blueberries, and 3 tbsp of lime juice. Muddle with wooden spoon until berries are smashed and mint lightly bruised.

Next add 3 cups of pineapple juice and 2/3 cup of sweet and sour mix. Stir.
Fill tall glasses with ice and pour mixture until glass is 2/3 full. Top with sparkling water or club soda. Garnish with mint spring, and give it a gentle stir (we used the spring to stir) and serve.

Variation Pour mixture into glasses and fill until ½ full. Add an ounce or two of your favorite clear alcohol (we preferred vodka or light rum). Stir with mint spring, and then top with sparkling water or club soda.
